How can I share content outside of my yearbook? – Creating LINK Pages

You may have photos you’d like to show off from an event that will occur after you’ve approved your book. If so, LINK pages, combined with a QR code in your one of your pages, would be a great fit. A like page a a web page specifically for your school!

To begin creating your LINK Page, navigate to the Manage LINK page, available under the Manage tab.

On the bottom right of this page will be a section for LINK Pages.

Click the + ADD NEW button. You’ll be prompted to provide a name for this page, as well as a description to start.

Once these are added, you’ll move onto a page where you can set the status of your page, what photo categories and videos you’d like to display on your page, and Facebook and Twitter links you can utilize to share your page.

You’ll notice a preview of the page as you’ve updated the settings, along with a long blue link, which is the current URL of your page.

From here, you can generate scannable QR Codes and add them to your pages. Just open the page in the designer where you want to add it, click the QR Code button on the left menu, and select the drop down menu beside Type to either:

  1. Select Custom URL: copy the URL from the LINK page and paste it in the white box
  2. Select LINK Page: simply choose from the list of LINK pages that you created.

And click the Generate QR Code button! The QR code will appear on your page.
